Betolar and Emirati concrete products manufacturer Fujairah Concrete Products (FCP) announced the collaboration at the international Big 5 Global construction event in Dubai. At the meeting, the company launched low-carbon concrete paving products. The product is based on the cement-free Geoprime solution developed by Betolar.

FCP is part of Fujairah Building Industries, a publicly held company whose major shareholder is the Fujairah Government. FCP is a leading manufacturer of concrete products in the Fujairah region of the United Arab Emirates. FCP is known for its high quality concrete products. The company is a supplier of concrete products to several large-scale projects. FCP produces more than 25 million blocks and more than 800,000 square meters of paving material annually.
Betolar has been preparing to cooperate with FCP since early 2023. The parties jointly designed and tested a geopolymer concrete paving product manufactured using Geoprime solutions, suitable for the Middle East market.The use of the new product significantly reduces CO2 emissions since production does not use cement but industrial by-products2 Footprint compared to regular cement-based pavers.
Paving products produced by FCP using Geoprime solutions comply with the standards of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Committee (ADQCC). Local standards were also adopted for compressive strength and water absorption parameters. In addition, Geoprime paving products meet the requirements of abrasion resistance standards (EN 1338, EN 1339 and EN 1340). As a manufacturer of concrete products, FCP recognizes the importance of environmental impact and has obtained EPD environmental certification.
