Oracle announces significant expansion of partnership with etisalat by e&. As a strategic move to enhance AI capabilities, etisalat by e& intends to deploy NVIDIA H100 GPU clusters within its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) dedicated region, which is hosted on etisalat by the e& data center. The program aims to promote the localization and development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence services and improve the product standards of its product portfolio and business operations.
As part of a comprehensive transformation program launched last year, etisalat by e& has chosen OCI Dedicated Zone as one of its main cloud platforms. This decision is in line with the company’s goal to simplify and modernize its operations and business support systems to facilitate the growth of its digital services portfolio.
By incorporating NVIDIA clusters into its plans for dedicated Oracle cloud regions, etisalat by e& will gain access to flexible, high-performance local computing resources. These resources will play a key role in rapidly developing and integrating new generative AI services into its product portfolio over the next two years. In addition, etisalat by e& will leverage Oracle Cloud Platform to integrate artificial intelligence services into its business applications to improve the efficiency of its business and operational processes.
The accelerated computing power provided by NVIDIA GPUs, coupled with OCI’s AI infrastructure featuring bare metal and RDMA cluster networks, will provide e&’s etisalat with a variety of AI training options. This enables innovative AI services to be developed agilely and scalably.
