Following the recently concluded COP28 conference, the commitment to sustainability was reaffirmed, marking more than four decades of commitment to environmentally friendly practices. As the Ariston Group counts down to its centenary in 2030, the company will consolidate its market leadership by adapting its business strategy to focus on sustainability, reflected in its ESG direction – “Building a Sustainable Future” “.
Ariston Group’s head of the Middle East, Turkey and Caucasus emphasized the role of sustainability in the company’s business model. “Under new regulations in the UAE, green/low power features have become a key pillar in designing effective hot water solutions. Ariston has evolved its product range to comply with the new regulatory requirements and is pleased to be a leader in this process Part of it.”
Ariston Middle East is hosting the COP28 event in the UAE, seizing the opportunity to expand its portfolio of sustainable solutions. As reiterated during COP28, the UAE’s progressive outlook aligns perfectly with Ariston’s vision to contribute to building a green footprint.
Recent projects in the UAE show a growing preference for hot water systems that use technology to reduce energy consumption. Ariston engineers provide customized advice on the company’s range of heat pumps and solar power systems, based on the specific requirements of each project.
Heat pumps extract heat from the air, reducing energy consumption by 80%, while solar hot water systems are at the forefront of Ariston’s sustainable solutions. Well-known establishments such as Double Tree Hilton in Fujairah, Navita Hotel & Residences and ECOS in Dubai are using Ariston heat pump combinations, which can save significant energy bills of AED 350,000 to AED 45,000 per year. Communities such as Mirdif Hills Development’s Golf Link Villas and Ras Al Khaimah’s 320 Villas can save up to 76% on electricity bills through solar systems.
Ariston Middle East is aware of the impact of buildings on the environment (accounting for 25% to 30% of pollution) and therefore actively cooperates with entities such as DEWA, SEWA and Dubai Municipality. The aim is to raise awareness and develop a serious approach to energy efficiency at all levels.
Alberto Torner echoed the sentiments of company founder Aristide Merloni, saying: “We are always committed to offering something to society, not only in terms of business, but also in terms of the social footprint that the group can offer.”
As Ariston Middle East drives sustainable solutions, it is poised to lead a revolution in water heating practices, combining environmental stewardship with innovative technologies to have a lasting impact on the region’s energy landscape.
